Gas Prices!!!

#1 Post by Smoker » Fri Jun 24, 2022 11:09 am

Finally needed gas for the beater. Haven't needed gas for a couple of months. Don't drive the cager very often.

Yep. Paid $7.79 per gallon. Seven fucking seventy-nine mother fucking dollars per gallon.

So very happy to be a biker!

For the bikes I don't care.
I'm just doing a few 1000km a year, so it doesn't really matter whether it's cheap or expensive.

I put this YT video up about a month ago filling the diesel.

https://youtu.be/PjsBqDHdx7g

I just hauled the travel trailer to Yosemite and back. I'll make another fuel cost video on that trip.

Very expensive but by your comment it looks like socal is getting raped more than we are up here.

New Hampshire June 25, 2022
Diesel best price I have found $5.65 more commonly found at $6.19 to $6.29
Regular 87 octane w/10% Ethanlol $4.65-$4.99
NON-Ethanol 91 octane $6.05
93 octane hi-test with Ethanol $5.65-$5.99

Heating oil (diesel without the tax) $5.65/gal can't wait until the people up here start filling their oil tanks for winter! A lot of people haven't filled their home heating tanks since February. That's when it's going to get real.

Aus its currently around A$2.40/Litre... So in US Gallon terms, * 3.785 = A$9.80 = US$6.77

Thats with 20c/L off for 6 months from the govt, ends in sept :(

While you're talking to Putin, have a talk with Biden and Trudeau and the rest of these political idiots as well. This is their way of killing gas/diesel power vehicles. The US is down 1.4 Million barrels from it's production high in 2019. I think Canada is off too. Russia is back near to pre-war production and that's going to India and China. That means there is more non-Russia oil for the rest of us. In 2008-2013 Oil prices were just as high as they are today and gas was about $1.00/gallon less than today in the USA. So there is a refinery issue, a regulation issue, and/or a distribution issue causing the Retail gas price run-up.

Next international summit meeting:

Ooh, that's a Slap for you, and a Slap for you, dont think I've forgotten about you, that's a Slap for you too. I give you all a Slap.

I think I'm channeling a Southpark episode from the distant past.
