There are just so many damn fasteners and clips and brackets, its just a huge pain taking off the main fairing and belly when I compare it to my NS400r or other bikes. For example using 6 screws per side (12 total) to fasten the belly pan to the Mid, and having 2 different screw sizes and "U" brackets seems odd to me. Surely it would have been easier to just overlap the belly and mid in the same manner that Mid and upper are overlapped and attached

The lower screw for the the belly not only attaches the belly pan to the bracket but it also pulls the 2 halves of the bracket together and clamps the bracket to the frame, so if you don't have a long skinny fingers to fish up through the bottom slot of the belly pan to manoeuvre the bracket, your in for some challenging times. The air was red when I was fiddling with that
