If it's cracking, replace it or get rid of it.

Re: 2015 R1 Shock Install on RZ350
The shock can be shortened internally by adding a space to reduce free length. If youre interested in shortening it more. Very easy job for any suspension shop.

Re: No Chassis/ case protection?
I think frame sliders would be a good idea, but as far as using them on a track bike that's a no-no. Frame sliders are for dropping the bike in a parking lot or at slow speed. Going down at high speed, the puck can catch and tear or bend the frame. You never see frame sliders on any race bike. If an...

Re: Jumping out of first.
I'm gonna say you're gonna have to tear it apart. Due to mis-shifting you have probaby worn the dogs on the gears, and now that it's popping out of gear it's probably bent the shift fork. But check what everyone else is saying first.

Re: 1990 RD350 F2 spewing coolant from expansion tank when h
aahhh, I just realized that it was coolant coming from the expansion tank, not chamber lol. Ya if its not overheating then its most likely the cap. my bad. If the cooling system is holding pressure I wouldn't change your head gasket yet. install the new cap and try it out first.

Re: 1990 RD350 F2 spewing coolant from expansion tank when h
Its probably not the rad cap. It can only be a few things, head gasket, warped head, or possibly the cylinder is cracked. Those are the only things I can think of that would allow coolant into exhaust.

Re: At my wit's end with this left cylinder
Forget the choke plunger, your compression is the issue. I've seen many plungers work fine that look just like yours. Even if it is leaking, it's not enough to cause your problem. Pull the head and see what's going on inside the cylinders.

Re: At my wit's end with this left cylinder
check your compression on that cylinder. when did this start happening? did it run fine before? How does the plug look? even if the choke plunger is leaking you should still see it running on that cylinder, like shit though (the plug would be very dirty and wet). If there is no combustion then it co...

Re: my semi-finished 85' rz350
Thanks, Ya I just like the looks of the gp style much better, and I honestly think he makes the best looking pipes you can get. And I have lots of time to think about paint, won't be doing it for probably a year or so.

Re: my semi-finished 85' rz350
It's not gonna be stock colors but maybe stock stripe scheme. I wanna use a pearl white and more metallic colors. The headlight is just a stock one from an 83' and some nice mounts I found on ebay. I know I have more headlight buckets if you're interested, I'll have to check the condition though.

Re: Ontario Motorcycle insurance
everything I was quoted for was just liability. Today though I got a call from the agent at state farm saying that he made a mistake. He said I would only be paying $84/month but I had to have car insurance with them (which turned out being cheaper). Also the quote was for full coverage. So guess im...
