Crank winding is when the ignition timing on the right cylinder is firing to early due to there being a delay induced by crank twist under load. With the EGT it sounds like you have crank winding which can be compensated for in some programmable ignitions like the Ignitech

Look at water ingress too as that eats the front edge of the pistons along sudden lean fueling. Did it go onto reserve? If not then look at water. I cant see any detonation on the pistons I see marks from a ring that has broken up as the upper groove has been eroded away, causing the ring to snag an...

They look like chinese fakes to me as the aerofoil in the centre isnt rounded off like the originals.

I plan to weld the crankcases to make them thicker for trenching. Im looking to make a square engine 64 x 64 about 410cc ish. Should be very torquey and fun to ride as it keeps the std YPVS.
