A good welder is like a good doctor. I have one that does tuck stuff and use to be in the oil field. His buddy say he can weld a soda can back together. Keep up the good work and hope you are feeling well. Best wishes for a wonderful Christmas

Thanks, much. Merry Christmas to you, brother!🍻

Trying to do my part to fight global warming, but I'm not going to stop riding my 2-strokers. I've hardly been riding, anyway. So, for xmas- no more tree killing for me. I've come up with a replacement for the xmas tree... No, not a motorcycle.

If it works out, I should have some custom work to show in a few days. I'm feeling really lucky to see another xmas.

So, the school semester ended, and hopefully I'll be back for more in January.

Trying to stay busy, in the mean time. Should be working on bikes, but need to clean up and take a holiday break. Took a nice ride a few days ago to get my favorite Mexican food. Got home, and the fender rack was bare. Food gone. Bungee net gone. Didn't even do one wheelie! :smt012

Sneak peek of my holiday project. Not much done, yet:

I'm trying to make the ornaments myself. Had to cut and sew that xmas hat down to 50% of the size.

Made a mistake on the centerpiece. Decorated the wrong end and was left with PVC sticking out.

Got the mistake fixed, and epoxied a stainless steel catch inside the yule log.

Decided to use custom christmas tree-type hangers. This one attaches to the catch, and also holds the disco mirror balls.

Tinsel ornaments and hangers.

The V-shaped stainless wires get pushed into the ends to splay out the tinsel, like on the top one.

Red disco mirror epaulettes. Hardest part was getting the correct size on the internal supports.

Looks like I should hang 2 strings of lights on mr. sort-of bilateral. Then, ornament up.

9 pm xmas eve.
200 lights up, but still need some adjustments. Should be the same, side-to-side.
Need to get the ornaments on.

Cold is awesome this time of year! Never had a white xmas here in SoCal. I think it's going to be 80 degrees today.

Yeah, I was an Anesthetist for many years.

Got the fireplace on TV. Jamming reggae xmas tunes on the stereo. Skeleton is all lit up. Taking my guitar to a buddy's house and gifts for his kids. So happy to see another xmas!

Well, I know it's time to get back to working on bikes.

Was able to take a holiday trip home to the reservation. Unfortunately, I bought tickets on Southwest before the shit hit the fan. Had a Christmas miracle and both my flights were among the very few that didn't get cancelled.

Just wanted to put a punctuation mark on this side project. Well, another punctuation mark (!). :smt003

Been thinking about it and he definitely needs a heart. A disco mirror heart, of course. Maybe soon, or not, but I'll show it when it happens.

Happy New Year, and best wishes to you guys.
