Stupid question #3,728:

Where does this pipe go :-?

I am highly confused and ready to kick myself when the painfully obvious answer comes rolling in (hopefully!)
Thanks for checking.

Stupid question #3,729:
I have Mikuni roundslides on my bike but I want to dispense with the standard choke...in fact I just want to lose the choke altogether. Can anyone suggest how I block the choke holes in the carbs? Do I just plug them with a bolt or is it more complicated than that? I'm guessing that if I just cap them then fuel will be running constantly? Any ideas very greatfully received. Thanks again.

On a lighter note my sprocket cover is now made of MAGNE...

My fault! I forgot to send the cover to Tigcraft along with the motor-shell so they naturally made no allowance for it  Lucky for me that I didn't need to cut into the clutch push-rod plate on the reverse so it's still as strong as an uncut one.

Sorry...more questions.
Where do we get new (aftermarket...anything really) YPVS motor cables? I can't seem to find any available and they never come up on ebay. Anyone have a source for these?

Mine are very worn and frayed...

Thanks again,
Dave.

I sincerely appreciate your effort Colin but honestly...no.
I can't make it out? Sorry to be a bother.

Dave,

Trace the other hose from the same manifold and you will find what you are looking for. Keep in mind that both rear cylinders are identical and have the same hose fittings.
If I disagree with everyone, that doesn't make me right. If I take the side of only one, it doesn't end the fight. If my position's strong enough from exposure to the light, you may see things my way when we share the same highway.

Yep. Water nipple. Look at the rubber manifold on the right. Look on the left side of the left allen bolt.

Got it!
Thank you all so much!
Thanks Smoker for the heads up re: power-valve cables also. I will check into it.

Anyone have an idea about the choke block-off plan mentioned above? That would be great!

Love this forum thingy.....

Can't tell from the pics, but is there enough clearance between the frame and engine (cover)?

Yes. Only about 1mm right now but I can take it out another 5mm without messing with the clutch-rod plate.
I may have to depending on how much vibration I get from the motor.
