Done for now, Just have to wait on the painter go get my bodywork finished and Ill swap it out with the chinese kit..

Engine rebuild, Blew out the piston a year ago and got kinda pissed of with myself and the bike,
So sent them out to Bill Wilson, rebored and STG3 tune to match the 34mm carbs and Toomeys,

Back with new Wiseco pistons. Oh, and bigger main jets,

Put 50 miles on my newly rebuilt Red/Black 500 today. did 20 odd miles on the red/white so they wont be fighting in the garage later
Then chained Charlie the dog to the bike for the night

How did jetting go with Bill's filter kit Paul? Easy to sort out?

I ask because I have the kit here and I also have a Mad Beaver kit. Dale Murphey, who made the Mad Beaver kit, told me jetting was problematic with his kit, which is why I bought Bill's filter kit. I assumed Bill's kit wasn't a jetting headache as I've seen plenty in use on the forum, but I've never asked anyone....until now

No probs at all with the 34s John, So far so good, Both bikes run nice and clean.

Are they Gus's cool heads fitted to you 500? and is the black bodywork original or a chinese copy? it looks awesome!
