Re: Video first ride little sister TZ 250 private track day.

Even from the video, if "looks" like everything a bespoke older 2T race bike would be to ride, harsh and at times awkward..but huge fun with it.

Keep us updated with your progress

Re: RZV 500 video first ride this year

I think the lack of medical facilities will contribute to wiping out the track day season in the UK.

Anyway, enjoyed the vid(as always), private track day on an RD sounds like something only Carlsberg could organise..enjoy the TZ.

Very nice Stinny.

Wouldnt expect any less from Mick...you know his pipes will be well dyno tested and proven as well..

Re: Jim Lomas pipe fit

I've been hearing the same complaints for years about lomas pipes.Lomas obviously knows this and has chosen not to change his design for whatever reason, cost I'm sure. With him now supposedly taking over the jolly moto brand it begs the question what is the best pipe for the rd500 at this point?.Mar...

I think the TZR fuel tap seems a better option.
I've ordered some 10mm QR disconnects , will see how they appear / measure up when they arrive ...Ultimately, the QRs dont seem to be well tried and tested so I think the TZR tap as you and others say, is the best option.

Re: 8mm Quick Release Fuel Line Connectors

Very useful, thanks...did you install the additional
set of filters due to debris in the tank?
Do they may also cause a restriction do you think?

8mm Quick Release Fuel Line Connectors

Has any one fitted these to a standard bike? Bought a set of 8mm ones from Demon Tweeks, while they fit nicely, the internal bore of the connector is around 4.5mm from the hose ID of 9mm. I'm concerned at full throttle, this restriction may not flow enough fuel and the bike could run lean. Anyone fe...

Re: fuel aditive

I think the manufacturers offer the best advice, this is from the back of the RD manual and most of the bikes of the eras, my NS400 was no different. I guess they fitted drain screws for reason, leaving fuel in bikes for weeks and months did them no favours even before the recent brew of ethanol fue...

Re: Getting the best from OEM Forks

Sad to admit I guess but few of us weigh what we did in the 80s and our front suspension is now old, saggy and saddled with bizarre 80s technology... So what can we do to improve this? I’ve been trawling round the forum and found some things people have suggested, but also have some questions: 1, S...
