I looked into boring the stock carbs a while back. It can be done but from what I understand the bore has to be cut in an oval. If you just plow through with a bigger round hole air will get by the slides. Also from what I figured you could basically go up to the equivalent of 27.5 mm.

I was just wondering if any of you have experience with the AirTech 1990 YZR500 tail section? From what I understand it fits the RZ frame with less modifications?

Me three, I also jumped on the bandwagon. I didn't order the tail section however, as I'm not really sure what I want to do with that yet? Not saying there is anything wrong with this tail, I'm just not sure I want to commit to cutting and welding my RZV frame at this point? Hoping to find an option...
