You have purchased a coil designed for an inductive ignition system that expects 3.2 ohms of resistance to work properly. Your RZ has a Capacitive Discharge ignition which runs with very little resistance (0.5 ohm). This is why tachometers from 4stroke bikes will not function with your RZ. The coil...

Hi all ,i saw a 400 on ebay and wonder what they go for compared to the big brothers.?
and were they a domestic market only bike ?

Sort of related, when i bought my 82 RD350LC , it came fitted with the full pro-am kit and a white and red stripped tank cover.
but nothing else

i wonder how a titanium sleeve would work.
great wear/corrosion/light weight and heat stability quality's.
cost would be not inconsiderable but if we are dreaming ,why not dream big.!.

harbor freight do a cheap hole punch set that will make for nice clean stud holes.
and a round hole is less prone to tearing.
