Re: Tigcraft.
Yes. Only about 1mm right now but I can take it out another 5mm without messing with the clutch-rod plate.
I may have to depending on how much vibration I get from the motor.

Got it!
Thank you all so much!
Thanks Smoker for the heads up re: power-valve cables also. I will check into it.
Anyone have an idea about the choke block-off plan mentioned above? That would be great!
Love this forum thingy.....

Re: Tigcraft.
Sorry...more questions. Where do we get new (aftermarket...anything really) YPVS motor cables? I can't seem to find any available and they never come up on ebay. Anyone have a source for these? Mine are very worn and frayed... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a257/Blackshaheen/DSC009462_zps80b65107...

HAHA! I hear you mate.
The chances of what I've built ACTUALLY firing are fairly remote in my imagination.
Dont think Ive gone too far wrong but there are just so many parts to this engine...

I'm basically done with the motor...for now. I've built (destroyed, ruined, abused and generally buggered) a few bikes in my time but this is the first time I have been genuinely a tiny little bit scared of a motor...really... http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a257/Blackshaheen/DSC00502_zps81be2e76....

Re: Tigcraft.
Well...in amongst re-grouting the kitchen sink and sorting the bathroom drain I managed to get Bills fabulous carb kit fitted into my rubbers today. It was a bit of a drama and Bill has been a gentleman as ever with my many questions. Personally I had to fit the carbs to the boots away from the moto...

Re: Tigcraft.
Cheers for the support Paul. I'm very pleased with how it's going and it is a bit different...which doesn't hurt. Steering damper locked on properly today and I'm splicing my throttle cables for Bill Wilsons carb kit. Hurrying along now with the prospect of racing in November. If that doeasn't happe...

Re: Tigcraft.
I have finally settled on a TZ250 tank and tail. The tank pictured here is a friends but I've sourced a damaged one for myself from Japan and will sort it once it arrives in a week or so I hope. The set-up needs a little modification but is fundamentaly good and I like it a lot. http://i13.photobuck...
