ZX7R radiator mod?
Hi guys. I've been scouring the good old WWW for info on this mod and have discovered plenty regarding the fact that the ZX7R rad will slot in fairly stright-forwardly. What I can't seem to find is some info on which date radiator will do the job most 'easily'. I must just be stupid...can someone pu...

I feel the same about the 'voiding' as you do. It does seem a pretty feeble attempt at obscuring the numbers. The only history I have is that it came froma guy in the States 2 owners ago who SAYS that he got it direct from Japan. That's it. it definately is straight so if it has been cancelled owing...

Thanks for the responses in my private messages one and all. Here are some pictures of what I'm talking about. I think you will agree that the stamping over the original number is not done to conceal it (because it is perfectly legible) but has been done to void it :-? somehow :-? The 'new' number h...

RZV chassis numbers???
Just picked up an RZV chassis    I am simply staring at it in my living room which could get unhealthy. I have a question about the chassis number though. My chassis reads 51X000499. This number on the headstock has had a cross stamped on each character in an effort to delete it ho...

Thanks Dale. I never considered that the length of the RZ stem would need modification. Why is that? Surely the R6 lower-clamp sits at the same height as the RZ lower-clamp that has been removed? Excuse my ignorance but I am just trying to get everything straight in my head :-? I have taken y...

RS250 front and rear.
I think some members have had experience of the Aprilia swingarm and fork conversion. I am keen to know how it compares to the R1 swingarm and fork conversion that I have read so much about here? It appears that the biggest obstacle in the R1 swingarm is its exaggerated length and the handling issue...

Fantastic link. I know I am getting to it a bit late but I am a newbie. Hi all. :smt039 Anyone tried to build a carbon tank for their bike? I am in the process of getting CF to make my own bodywork for my project and had never dared consider building a tank! This link seems to suggest that it...

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum and also have an RZV chassis to which I would like to attach R1 front and rear. Smurphs explanation of his R1 swingarm swap is fantastic and I look forward to skinning my knuckles. Smurph, please explain what you mean by spray welding the stem for the R1 triple. :-...
