16/40 JT steel sprockets and a DID VX3 gold x-ring chain are on the way. I also bought a cheap chain tool to smoosh the plates together, compress the rubber and let me slip in the clip, a task complicated by the rubbers. I think these tools are a little wonky, but grinders, vices, vicegrips, bloody knuckles over the years has made me want to treat myself. I'll report in!

Be careful to not over smoosh the master link plate. That's why I bought the DID ML tool. It has a stop. Maybe with a clip style you can't over smoosh??? Been a while since I used a clip style.
