Ken, beautiful bike I watched the ride and really love the 500, what color blue is that?

This ride?

Thanks a bunch for checking in to my YouTube channel.
I'm looking forward to watching your build on this forum. You have a great start.
The modified fairings on the 500 are from a 2008 R6. The fairing parts while being modified to fit that bike, and being on and off probably 100 times during that process, have not been repainted. The fuel tank was matched beautifully by a professional. The blue is Yamaha factory R6 blue used for many models for many years. They call it "Deep Purplish Blue Metallic". The metallic black is really nice too. I may use the blue and/or black on my latest RZ350. As soon as I finish up about 100 other little projects.

That girl in the blue dress is hot!
She's got strong legs and nice pipes. Looks like she's always ready to go too.
Does she sing Rock & Roll or just Country?

Re: Livermore pics
Here is a non-MC post some may enjoy.
I thought I would share some highlights of our 7/1-7/6 Yosemite trip.
For two days prior to our arrival there were heavy thundershowers. This raised the level of the river and the waterfalls making them more spectacular than I would’ve imagined in this drought year. We have been there in much bigger water years and much less. We really lucked out considering the drought conditions. By the time we left the river was way down and Yosemite Falls (which we had a view of from our campsite) had very little flow.
I finally was able to test out my dual fuel generator. Yes, we really like to rough it. The little bit of time it was used it worked like a champ.
Our group had 5 sites in North Pines. We had a fantastic river site.
At one point we had 19 people in our group spread out amongst the 5 sites. Here is a few of the people.
One of my favorite hikes in the Valley is Vernal Fall then up to Nevada Fall. A must do for me each trip we make there. This was the only hike I made this year. I made a video of the 7/3 lone hike; a link is included the end of this post.
Vernal Fall Mist Trail on the way up.
The top of Nevada Fall.
The route back I use the John Muir Trail. It’s a little easier on the knees.
Coming back down overlooking Vernal Fall.
Back down on the Mist Trail at the base of Vernal Fall again.
Yosemite Falls on 7/4 is beginning to shrink.
Yours truly swimming in the pool at the base of Yosemite Falls.
With my baby girl.
Lower Yosemite Falls.
The end.
Here is a video of my hike up to Nevada Falls and back.

Looks amazing - seems like you're on a fantastic trip!
You seem to have a great set-up there for long getaways!
Have to ask - is that one of your RZ's under the gray tarp?

Sorry to here of your "water" problem. You should have let it flow and come to the event. Priorities, you know.
AHRMA Classic MotoFest of Monterey
7/15/21 through 7/18/21
Is anyone interested in vintage motorcycles and motorcycle racing? What an absolutely fantastic event this was. I believe it is slated to become an annual event. I sure hope so. We watched endless “practice” sessions and then race action Saturday and Sunday. Additionally, they had vintage motocross and vintage trials in two separate areas. I was so busy the whole time I never made it to watch the motocross and trials.
I caught wind of this event quite late. I called to see about getting one of the XL campsites. They had one left. So, I reserved a four-night camping stay In the Can-Am Circle C Campground. I can’t believe I ended up getting such a nice campsite with only one left. Unfortunately, we had to leave Sunday due to commitments on Monday. So, we missed a bit of the Sunday racing. It was hard to leave. The camp site had a great view of the straightaway (speeds into the mid-120s) into and Turn #5. But there is lots to see at the racetrack so we moved around quite a bit to get the different views.
From Wikipedia…”Laguna Seca Raceway is a paved road racing track in central California used for both auto racing and motorcycle racing, built in 1957 near both Salinas and Monterey, California, United States. The racetrack is 2.238 miles long, with a 180 feet elevation change.”
Here are a few photo highlights from our perspective. I have hours of video to look at and edit and will hopefully come up with a YouTube video or two. Enjoy.
Leaving on Thursday
Arriving a couple hours later
The girls hard at work while I get the camper set up
A neighbor thankfully helped me unload my bikes into this dirt hill. No, I didn’t race. But there was a lot of inspiration to add a new facet of this hobby. We’ll see. These bikes went into the motorcycle show Saturday.
In one of the garages was a bunch of Dick Mann’s motorcycles. A very nice tribute
One of the Crussell herd of bikes racing. What a joy it is to see one of these running on a track
The owner of this bus was hilarious. Woodstove and all this thing was driven from Florida. He raced the two 193? Indian hard tails with hand shifters.
Jeff Hinese (Highwayman Bikes https://www.highwaymanbikes.com/ ) had his land speed record TZ350 powered bike on display. He raced a TZ125 with his PhD smart modifications. The thing screamed and kept up with much larger displacement motorcycles. He fabricates everything himself. Genius.
Another vintage transport
The early mornings were like this
Friday afternoon I spent 2-3 hours in this position.
