What is this wire in the tail?

I'm tearing down my first RZ, bought it in non-running condition so a bit of gamble here. In any case as I was pulling things apart I ran across this wire. It has a mount on it but I don't see where it would screw into? It was clearly wrapped around the rear seat mount from the bend in the wire but I can't determine where it should go or what is it's purpose?

That is the sidestand switch.

@mstoop66 thank you! I see how it fits etc… I imagine this is disabled as the wires are shaped around that rear seat brace and folded into the tailpieces, which doesn’t leave enough to get down to the kickstand.
