Stock float valve replacements

#1 Post by kpke » Tue Oct 11, 2022 8:37 pm

I really only need the O-rings and may have found them. But I also found a great deal (not what I show here) for the banshee ones.

Has anyone successfully used OEM Yamaha banshee float valve assemblies to replace stock RZ350 float valve assemblies?

This is in US model carburetors.

This is what mine looked like

Along the same line- I need needles and seats for a Canadian model- anyone know if the US and Canadian carbs use the same seats and needles- and also float bowl gaskets. The carbs have Dynojet kits in them so I don't need any of the other stuff that comes in a standard rebuild kit that you see on ebay, etc.
This is probably why the left carb just pours gas out when I try to start it now...

My research has come back with the banshee parts and the RZ parts are interchangeable. But have not physically verified this. I ordered some float valve assemblies through Yambits. A bit of a risk but I need a bunch of other stuff so threw those on the order.

I may try these. Usually the Japanese made kits are pretty good. These are the Banshee kits... Float bowl gaskets look correct as do the needle valves which is all I need.
