Brass Balls

Decided to clean behind the brass ball passageways of the VM26's. Tapped the top of the ball with a nail and drilled out with a 3/64" bit. Reversed the bit, into the drilled hole, to pop out the ball(s). Bought a pair of 10-24x3/16 scrub screws at 17 cents a piece from Lordco as replacements. The scrub screws easily self tapped into the hole for future inspection. Hoped to used brass scrubs but steel was all that was available - worked well.
