RIP Rob Selvy

#1 Post by Questo vecchio rz » Tue Jan 18, 2022 9:39 pm

I'm not sure how many of you are crossover racers or enthusiasts, but Rob Selvy an incredible 2 stroke builder and tuner died on Sunday, my friend told me.
Don't know the details but I do know he had some severe challenges the last 10 years.
A true legend from the heyday of the 70s/80s AMA two stroke and 3 wheeler racing from Baja to short track.
He's been building some astounding 250r motors, delivering 70+ h.p stomping rideable machines.
Were losing too many good people, losing way too much knowledge as they depart
The man was truly a just genuinely nice human being.
Banshee (Baja) race bike,+ 2 A Arms,L.E.Ds, Toomey, +4 stroker IMS tank, run flats.
96 GSXR SRAD, Future Yoshimura rep.
85 custom Tri-Z
RZ/YZR bike(project)
86 VFR750 RC24 Merkel replica (project)
Royal Enfield Bullet 500

RIP Rob Selvy. I knew him, visited him in Cali years ago. Awesome 2 stroke tuner for sure.
