Not much progress, Waiting on frame etc to get back from the powder coaters, Engine cases, fork lowers and carbs are all vapor blasted and refinished, Cylinders are back from Bill Wilson who did a top notch job reboring and porting them, Cant wait to see how they run Bill :)
I did the clutch conversion today to billet, The old basket was sloppy and worn, You can see the rubber dampers are really loose in there, They look a bit better now with then new ones in there,,,

This is the slow stuff. Stripping, cleaning and painting, new seal kits etc,
Frame and all the metal bits are out at the powder coaters,
Engine cases are back, Time to rebuild :)

More progress, Lower end is together, had to make up a clutch basket holder, Mine is on loan to a friend that forgot to bring it back!!!! We all have "them friends" :P
Fitted some Ti bolts to the clutch for a little pop for the clutch window, Fitted the pistons and head etc and measured the squish, Head is sent out to Wilson Performance for Bill to work his magic on it, Re-profile the head and set a tighter squish.

So I have a set of Vforce 3 and 4s, The 3s fitted with a little grinding, Took some measurements with my Micrometer and I can get the 4s in with a lot of grinding, Challenge accepted :P
The toughest part was making sure the petals opened all the way to the stops without hitting the side of the wall, 8mm spacer and we are good to go, Painted the cylinders semi gloss,

I believe the Vforce2 made the best top end. No midrange. Vforce 3 make great midrange and not so great top end. The 4s make great midrange and good top end.
Now that’s only what I found on the Banshee forums. They use the 4s a lot.

Revival time, Been busy rebuilding a GPZ750 Turbo and A Gixxer 750, Both are almost complete, Time to get this LC up and running, Got the head back from Bill, looks great, All machined and squish set at 1mm, Pistons in and new head bolts and washers, new OEM head gasket. head torqued, Vforce-4 reeds fitted and a Chariot intake, I'm going to run a set of 36mm Lectons, Ill have to make a throttle cable and fire out the oil feed..
