Also... FYI I know a guy in keswick with a dyno in his garage. He’s cheap, available, and will let you do your thing. He races a TZ in the Vintage race group.

Ordered some shitty headlight brackets so I could get a headlight on it. I’m not happy how they fit but they will work until I find some nicer ones.

Also picked up a 45gal drum of 93 octane today for the summer well the prices are as low as they are.

Sunoco 93 octane. Cost me $183 for the 45 gallon drum. Also had to pay a $50 deposit on the drum

I was told it’s ethanol free by the supplier,
it’ll be mixed 50/50 with vp c12

So with everything going on in the world I decided I needed another project to eat up some time.
Today I ordered a big bore 68mm bore 58mm stroke set up to put in the rz. As cast it makes 86hp with supporting mods so it should be interesting to feel real world differences from a built rz engine to a stroker big bore without power valves.
I went with a driveline engine kit as many people told me they are as good as a CPI cylinder make similar power and are a fair bit cheaper.
Within the next few weeks I should have it going together and the guy who’s going to put it together has a dyno and will be able to dyno tune it and see some real world comparison from the built rz engine I have to the stroker engine.

I’m excited to get this engine build going,
cylinders will be in the mail this afternoon.
