2017 season is over for Rossi

Broke his Tibia & Fibula, on a dirt bike.
Scheduled for surgery.
Only 6 races left, Possibly may not see him race the rest of the year.

I suppose we can now hope Ducati can pull off a small miracle, with Andrea at the helm...that would be cool to see, but without Rossi running interference...it just allows Maverick and Marquez to almost guaranteed uncontested podiums. Zzzzzzz..we'll see???

It may not be the end of his season but it will be any hope for a championship.

That would be something to see. Especially after seeing him ride the TZ750 flat tracker a few years ago. With a competitive lap time!

something to see!! you got that right trex. King Kenny!!! I turned 50 this year and i don't like the fact that apparently i'm to old to start racing with the big boys. I hope valentino races in motogp for another 5 years. He brings so much to the sport and will continue to do so long after he retires. Valentino has said that he will maybe continue after next year if he is still competitive, can't ever see the guy not being competitive.

Turned 50 as well and started back club racing first at the kart tracks and a few sessions at chuckwalla and willow springs.
Never too old but definitely not as flexible.
Just as much, if not more fun than I remember it was.
Battles are just as heated but I come out on top much less.
Those youngins' are fast.
Like to see Pedrosa or Vinales get some podiums now that Vale is out.

50 is the new 30. I'm 32 :smt002

I like to think of age in the same way we talk of dog years, i.e.. x7, but prefer RZ years, which for me are about x 1/3

Russ, you're a rough looking 32, no offence.
