96mm same as OEM but there are 2 larger diameters available for when you go to a larger lower connecting pin for longer rods and life.
here is a link to crank works and all the different ones available. http://crankworks.com/index.php/atv/atv ... atv-cranks

So it's not allowed to ask sensible questions on April first, but it's allowed to do drunk posts like your reply?

FYI: Kenny is the guy behind TSA pipes and he's not here to pull anybodys legs.

Well for starters I don't drink alcohol period. ....so my post is NOT a drunk post.

Forgive me for thinking this was an April 1st joke because I thought it was.

The crank webs on a standard 10mm are the same as a stock crank webs, it's the big end throw that is larger and requires trenching the cases just to clear the rod. When I read this post and saw the date... I immediately got the distinct impression impression Kenny was taking the piss and posting a trick question to see if anyone would take the bait, but apparently on this site humor is NOT allowed!!!

Yes I do know who Kenny is, he is a fellow "Black Country" bloke like me, and for your information a "daft apath" is a term of endearment in the black country dialect. Kenny would understand that, and understand my post was said in a light hearted manner, but you obviously don't!

Martin, I'd suggest you take a chill pill! You need to lighten up man!

Hi all well I didnt expect this over my little Q but hey. I didnt even think about the date when I posted it lol. The crank webs come in many Diameters when they are stroked but I didnt know the +10 was on std sized webs.
OK Q #2 what is the circle diameter of the widest part now assuming its the outside edge of the Bigend of the rod. ie how much do I need to trench?

Well, you have to excuse that to me (as a non native speaker) that appeared somewhat gibberish and the common internet slang for that is "drunk posts".
But it wasn't meant as "you're a soak" but more like "this doesn't make sense".

Now I learned that this is the usual greeting of UK aborigines in remote rural areas of the island :-)

Kenny, personally I wouldn't go with 10mm as the required trenching makes the cases pretty thin. I've built a 7mm in the past and it needed about a 1mm trench just slightly wider than the width of the big end.

I plan to weld the crankcases to make them thicker for trenching. Im looking to make a square engine 64 x 64 about 410cc ish. Should be very torquey and fun to ride as it keeps the std YPVS.

I understand the attraction of building a square 64 x64, but I still think a 61 x 64 is a better option as it doesn't sacrifice the integrity of the crankcases. Do you think there will be that much of a difference in performance?

Has anyone ever seen a documented failure, or any problem, related to +7 or +10 trenching of the RZ cases?

I searched and wasn't able to find anything.

I could ask Roger. I'm guessing he's built more +7 and +10 RZ engines than anyone on the planet. Since it's his business, his response might be biased.

Look at these pics. Banshee cases seem to be meatier and thicker than RZ and will take a 10mm but 7mm is the limit for RZ without welding and epoxy filling.

Should be interesting w a YPVS system, can't say I've ever views one. As it's all been about Cheetah or Serval heads

You can source new Banshee cases for about $6-$700.00.

A Crankworks balanced billet 10mm crank for about $1500.00

With ported 10 mm Servals/Cheetahs easily putting out 80-100 h.p.
Very curious as to how a ported YPVS
setup would perform, especially with a tuned set of pipes.

By all means, keep up with updates...👌
