Fuel peacock vacuum tube ?

#1 Post by wombat » Thu Mar 03, 2022 2:38 am

I just did a top-end RE-build on my RZ350. All good.

The problem is I can’t remember where the hose from the fuel peacock vacuum outlet goes to? (It’s running fine when fuel set to prime but replaced all fuel hoses so no reference of length old hoses)

I guess it needs a vacuum so I guess somewhere on the carb to connect?

Can’t find anything about it in the workshop manual. Any suggestions much appreciated 👍🏼

One of your carbs will have an extra hose barb. I don't recall if it's left or right carb. Hose goes from petcock to carb.

Not sure about the California models but most have a brass tube on the inside of the RH carb.

You were correct 👍🏼 On the inside of RH carb. Good to go now.

Many thanks for the tech knowledge
