Haven’t done much other than weld up some suspension mounts and brackets.
[edit] nothings bolted down which is why things look discombobulated as far as alignment.
Oink oink

Re: RZ Project III or is it IV?
Decided to take the plunge and ordered 1997 TZ250 upper and lower fairing in fiberglass from Sebimoto.
If I ever get it to be mounted decent I'd like to have it painted like this.
I was going to go with original RZ upper and chin fairings but decided to go full.
Front end needs to be lowered and the bars to make something like this work. Might be a mild mistake. We will see.
I also picked up some .875 OD .065 wall 4130 to finish up the frame.

Re: RZ Project III or is it IV?
After trying a few methods of driving a automotive gauge stepper motor, I finally put together an initial breadboard for driving a speedometer needle using an Arduino Nano, X27.168 stepper motor and TB6612 1.2A DC/Stepper Motor Driver.
I'll be using a pulse input from the wheel to drive the 90's FZ gauge shown in a previous post. I'll also be using a small OLED display to count the miles for an odometer.
The idea is to have older style gauges which might have been on an RZ in the 90's.

I've repaired and gutted the FZ750 gauges to accept a circuit board which will house the arduino, motor drive, stepper and OLED. Just have to get the pulse input working and package it up into something that will fit inside the speedo "cage".

Let me be the first to say: Wow! That’s cool...and perhaps marketable

I'll be the second to say: Wow! That's cool. Looks like a lot of thought and effort.

Re: RZ Project III or is it IV?
Sebimoto fairing arrived a couple days ago.
It arrived my front door after about 5 weeks.
Bike hasn't been put together to work on yet but the fairing will get my butt in gear.
Ignore the mismatch, I balanced the upper on the lower for the photo. Everything lines up well.
Ordered some Dzus fasteners and researched windscreens for it. Zero gravity has clear ones in stock for $100.
Everyone else is $250 (!).

Re: RZ Project III or is it IV?
Insignificant update #42
I was going through all the suspension hardware and realized the Suzook swinger has an offset that I did not include when setting up the shock position.
The shock mount has been welded to that particular frame cross tube more than a few times so I decided to cut it off and weld on another.
I'll feel good about the effort when I'm riding it down the road.
