I pulled the RZ out yesterday and replaced the intake manifolds, checked the fluids and aired up the tires. Glorious ride in to work this morning! No speedo, no tach...until the 2nd 10K shift, then the tach sprang to life! Still no speedometer, maybe in a couple of days.

Very cool! I uncovered mine yesterday and washed it. Battery was kaput, so I ordered a new one. I'm looking forward to smoking the roads in a week or so.

There are a few little things, but in my head I have a vision of getting my Elsie project together so I can ride it before delving too deep into this RZ. Fork seals, fork tubes, re-seal the exhaust flanges, service the suspension linkage and maybe put a battery back in it (has a battery eliminator now) are the short-term realistic goals. And maybe move the footpegs for my old knees!
