Canadian parts fiche ?

#1 Post by Martman » Tue Jan 07, 2020 1:34 pm

Hi all, looking for a link to a Canadian LC parts lookup. All I can find is Euro based stuff; specifically looking for the part numbers for the bar switch assemblies. Cheers!

Unfortunately i dont think there is an online Canadian model specific 4L0 parts book anywhere. Maybe its time that changed.
Also never seen a computer file for it. My dealer has it on microfishe still!
If anyone out there has a computer file i am pretty sure we can get it onto rd350lc.net
Can i use a scanner to convert it?

Thanks Colin, I'll see if I can coax the dealer here to pull out his fiche to get my numbers.

I have a Yamaha Parts Catalogue RD350J (4y3) Canada.
The right part number is: 4y3-83976-00
The Left is: 4Y3-83973-00
Hope this helps.

They don't exist from what I have seen. Have to come into dealer with part numbers these days if you need replacements. Search google and you can find some Euro sites with fiches. Annoying for sure.

Thanks for the part numbers and the find on that, I can re-do my left if needed but the right side was beyond repair.

Is it a paper book? Does it have a partnumber on it?

It's a photocopy of a the book. I bought it off ebay 5 or 6 years ago. It doesn't have the cover page nor a part number for the book.
Sorry
If you are going to use Euro switches you should have the Euro main wiring harness. I have converted two Canadian models to the euro wire harness to use the Euro switches.

As for this resto it will remain all original as far as I can. Does anyone know what else would be different from Canadian to Euro spec bikes aside from the switches? Speedo would be a starting point with large scale in kmh and smaller one in mph I would imagine?

I converted mine to UK spec when I was restoring it, I didn't want the Canadian style switches, No on/off!! I used a Japanese wire harness and Euro switches, Im collecting all the parts for another and have a Japanese harness and UK switches also, Everything else worked...
