Perhaps Yamaha will seriously think about an RD (real RD not 4 stroke pap) come back like the other brands are doing it appears. Honda 2018 cbx990 concept is interesting. Did not realize the original cbx inline 6 1000cc design cues came form the RC166. Link to the article:

I owned a Moto Matin framed CBX1000 back in the day. Big, Heavy bassstard, Sounded great, that was about it, Swapped it for a GPZ750 turbo... :)
