1979 on my '77 RM125.

Not a Yamaha, a Suzuki, back when the RMs ruled in the dirt. 1979 on my '77 RM125. I started racing later on that year. Note the nice equipment: helmet, jersey and construction boots, untied. Photo is too big.

Would be nice to see your photo.

The '77 RM125 was my second bike back in 2003, first was a '79 RM60 in 2002. Pulled it from a junk pile and was missing quite a few pieces. Rebuilt it on a 13 yr old's budget so it was not the best bike but at least I had a bike to ride. Will never forget replacing connecting rod and rod bearing... big hammer, big punch, small bench vice, propane torch, and 3 hours of swinging :smt003 after eye balling the crank halves, it actually didn't vibrate too bad when it was all done! That RM125 is what really got me into bikes, 3 wheelers, and anything with a motor, especially 2 strokes. Ended up selling it to a friend for $350 who wanted to use the engine for go-kart, don't know if that ever happened but I still regret that sale. Thanks for bringing back some good memories hondaror.

The only pic I have of my RM125, was before I got it running. There's probably a way to post pictures from the desktop, but I can't figure it out :smt017
