You’re not being locked out- what is happening is the bill isn’t being paid.

We could start a new forum with a similar name, though we might lose a lot of that accumulated information.

I think that information was cached and maybe gone now.

I talked to Mark H. today and he’s trying to obtain the domain. Hopefully that means none of the information is lost. I don’t really know how that works though. Would be a shame to lose all of that.

There's the domain name and there's the hosting service that has the saved data. I called the hosting service (Hostgator) today. They told me when the domain name disappears they will let the information lapse from their servers after "about" a month.

If the info is lost and the domain name can't be purchased for a reasonable price, I'm thinking of starting a new forum just for the sake of stability. The site has gone down several times in the past few years because the hosting and domain name fees weren't paid.

A possible problem with using the same domain name - scavengers watch for popular domain name expirations and they buy them. Then when you want to buy the name, they want big bucks. It happened to me once when I let a domain name expire and I paid around $400 to get it back.

Yeah, Mark “m in sc” Hasse is trying to wrangle Matty and purchase the domain name.

Was a strong forum, and even though I haven’t had an aircooled RD I’m over a decade I found a lot of useful information there.

Good dudes, good forum, let’s help it live on.
Wasting time on 2T forums since the dawn of the internet. RD350LC, TDR250, plated 300XCW. No four strokes.

One of the great things about that forum are the tuners who post to it, such as Ed Erlenbach, Chuck "Supertune" Quenzler, John Aylor and Lyn Garland. All that useful info in one place, and we can't get to it.

Yea great info there! ,The now defunct USA2Strokers was that way once. Then a group of So Cal & S.Bay dudes whom frequented the forum, and (thought they knew everything) treated it as their own "locals" site, they ran members away in droves.....then the site just died a slow death...too bad as Robert the owner had a utterly fantastic archive of great turning info, alot of air-cooled knowledge, and RZ.
It was great times for 2 Strokes back when Moto Carrera was in their store in Burbank. You could buy a RD or RZ project for $1500.00 bucks... now every dreamer wants 3k for a rusted basket case.
I love my 2 strokes, but I can buy virtually any 80s-90s bitchen Ninja,GSXR or FZR ,CBR etc.. running in good condition for the price of a entry level 2 stroke project...no thanks. I'll keep my RZ ,and Banshee.

I looked on the wayback machine and you can view the homepage some information is available. But many posts haven't been archived.

Also, the sections you can see only by logging in (tech library, for sale) are not viewable because you can't login to 2strokeworld on the wayback machine. I tried.

I think I figured out my problem accessing websites, but not how to fix it.
Using Google Chrome.
Messages say my clock (time/date) are not set correctly. Website security certificates are only good for a certain time period, so they get blocked.
Problem is, the time and date on my phone are correct. Tried lowering the security settings. Nothing has worked to fix the problem.
Can't view the Mull Engineering products, only the home page. Similar to AF1 website.
