Need opinions on selling my 2nd RZ whole or parted out

I've come to the conclusion that I don't need to keep my spare 84 RZ350. I've held it for parts and could use the spare space in my shop and $ from moving it. Most of the parts have been removed and boxed for storage. The motor is on the frame and is a low serial production number. I have all parts except for the plastic windscreen that can be bought from a number of vendors. I'd like input to help decide two things- first if I should sell it together as a unit in boxes or part it out; and secondly, a value on the bike that would be fair to both seller and buyer. I really don't want to reinstall all the parts just to make it complete visually. It would need a complete resto and is the Y/B KR model with paint in poor to fair condition. The tank has been partially stripped and appears solid. Motor turns over but that is as far as I've gone there. Stock carbs, air box, and pipes. I know I could probably part it and get more but not sure I want to go that route as it would take time. No title either but that isn't needed in many US states due to the age. Note- It isn't officially for sale at this moment. Feedback appreciated- thanks.

Think you'd nearly have enough buyers here to part most of it out,sell rest on eblag....
For starters,Id be buying the gauges,top fairing + bracket,headlight,horns,switches etc.So theres that part of the bike gone.
Understand your not selling,just getting first dibs lol.

Always worth more in parts, but will take longer to sell it and you may get left with some random parts, but you can always gift them to get rid LOL

Anyway, looks like its already started... take your buyers when theyre hot!

I would say part it out as well. I was a little surprised how much I have gotten for the few take off bits I have sold here and there already.

What would a complete motor bring?

^ in the US. Banshee motors go for around $1k give or take, rz motor in decent shape to the right buyer could go for more I would think, selling it with a titled frame would be ideal as that is what scares a lot of people away. If you have a titled frame then they know they can get it on the road legally with little to no problems

Looking around $7-1100 on the motor. Broad range but depends how long you want to sit on it. Parting out the bike is likely to bring more but expect to sit on it for a long time. Forks/wheels/brakes/shock are all next to throw away parts due to lack of demand and shipping costs although USPS is much more reasonable. Your most valuable parts are the ones that commonly break, are wear items, or cannot be easily upgraded.

That's a high, right price. I haven't worked since Sept. 2014. No compensation, just looking after my wife. Thousands are not falling into my lap. I have to work again for that. But if you hang on...I'm very interested.
