From the two pics, I vote for the white background.
I also would keep the GTZ logo not very big and would add a YPVS anagram somewhere on the tail, too.

the gtz logo will be small. its that size simply because my ms paint skills lack a bit in talent.
Hadnt thought about a YPVS logo but I like the idea.

RuZty: you mean like this

I think it looks really heavy on the bottom. with the black wheels.

I hadn't tried yellow or even blue for that matter. Maybe I need to play around with it.

RZResurection: funny because I have always been the guy in my riding group with red bikes, dont know why I guess its just that was the right bike at the time and for the right price on the used market, but now my options are unlimited. I am a fan of KTMs. I suppose I could MS paint some orange on there. Maybe we'll save that for the dirt bikes.
If it its too heavy on the bottom (from the black rims), then go with the white on the rims - like your photoshop'd picture.

Always the red bike are you? Hey, I completely understand your situation. Like you said - options are unlimited. Kinda looks as if you've gotten used to a red bike. LOL.

I now change my vote to red (with black wheels, of course). I don't think it looks 'heavier', just more visually solid. White wheels must be a bitch to keep clean too.

Did this member ever complete this, it was so cool!. The stock Hawk was utterly forgettable, but this and the RC30 replica conversions were awesome.
I'm curious as to how the engine used as a stress member worked, & just overall riding and ground clearance with big pipes underneath. The custom pipe work added to the builders vision, you won't see another like it and that's a good thing.

Update if any info

Oh how life gets busy.
It has been pushed around a bit but basically no work has been completed since my last post.
In june of 2014, my family and I with the help of drug dealing neighbors, put an offer on a house with land and then quickly put ours on the market.

For the last year and a half I have been remodeling our new house with crazy hours and tons of money invested, the bike has been sitting. We finally moved from our storage facility /basement we had been living in, up into the now fully remodeled main floor. All of that work in addition to a full time Job and two kids with their sports and stuff has been rough for getting hobby projects completed.

With this purchase though I aquired a 24'x32' Barn that just received concrete and is now a propper shop.
I also finally got my new hydraulic lift, recessed into floor so as to sit flush with floor when lowered.
The fire still breathes for this bike and it will get finished I have just put it on back burner, I don't want to push it through just to finish it, I want to give it the time it needs and do it right.

I will see if I can get a pic up of the new shop with the bike on the lift.

Wow, sounds like a dream shop!

Congratulations. :smt030

Nice to hear from you and anxiously awaiting updates on this build. I think it is fantastic. :smt016

And yes, pictures please. :smt045

What is the bit about help from drug dealing neighbors? Was that shop a meth lab or something?

cant get pictures up. I will keep trying.

Neighbors moved in and started selling drugs.
That gave the Mrs. and I a reason to start looking for a new place to live.
And that turned us onto the now multi acre place with a shop.
The people we bought from were just really dirty, thats why we remodeled.

Good to hear you still have it I know what you mean about life getting in the way. :smt011 I live in California and bought a house you can't touch anything here for under 400,000k in a half ass decent neighborhood. I have bought very little in the last 5 years for my project.
Great shop, I did similar last summer but much smaller.

Wow, fantastic! That shop looks great. Lots to look forward to there.

Don't waste too much money and time on your house. Put it into the shop ASAP, then the leftovers go to the house. :smt040
