Re: TZR 385 from France "Stroker+4 YPVS in a 125 Belgarda Fr
the Cr vibrates so much, that you could'nt ride more than 10 minutes on the SDR
But...
the next level: sabertooth 510 on trx (it could be ready this winter)
and you forget the cr
forever
the 330 overtakes best 350LCs and some 500 Cr, so the sabertooth...
At this day, and we are only two in France to own a SDR, the other guy keeps it genuine, on his salon! Not mad
I prefer to ride mine (and I fell off at 100MPH two month ago)

Re: TZR 421 from France
2014
I put a stroker +4/115 with revisited Athena 68mm cylinders
It sounds great, with v-force 4, PWK 35 air striker
a lot of work on dyno today, d..ned highly modified clutch such a mess...even my 8 disc one doesn't like the big amount of torque on such a thin range of rpm's...So I put the lock-up, I especially don't want to ride on road races where tsunami on gear box ain't welcome...I think of amelioration of the lock-up fluidodynamism.
Here's the engine with stock modified 7 plates clutch
an overview of the painting...

Re: TZR 421 from France
Stock Cheetah cub 421 on full Avgas, with stock 1WT 1987 ignition, RDZ small bore inframe pipes VS my Athena 421 highly modifed, also stock RZ 1987 Ignition (1UA-50) with Shearer big bore out of frame pipes...
Couldn't try the RDZ in frame on my TZR.
Shearer small bore on pending order.
Tremendously spanked by the CUB, but I'm pretty happy! Sounds good for my road championship!
THe device is very pessimistic, to situe, Best stock NX4 with Vforce makes 33.3 rwhp

Looking good Etienne
I have a question.
In wich bike are you turning better laptimes?
The 421 or the 330?

Around a second and a half better with TZR 385 (ypvs highly modified barrels) on a 1'20" track
This engine (+4 stroker) makes 54 hp on this dyno
The sdr was 42 true hp during this year.

Here's a quick ride of my Athena stroker on French regional road championship
http://youtu.be/L6iLo_uCfwk?t=1m11s" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
To complete, I say welcome to the Cheetah Cub
See some pics to compare, The cub is a +4mm stroke cylinder block, brand new from TDR
Athena are a stock stroke design cylinders, revisited by my little hands, 8 hours of ride.
Straight cut transfert port like old school TZ
Re: TZR 421 from France
The bike sounds really crisp and healthy Etienne.
If you don´t mind me asking what oil did you use on those 8 hours riding the cylinder kit. Elf 976 I suppose?

Re: TZR 421 from France
That's right, ELF 976+ at 30:1, mix Avgas/unleaded 98 ratio 50/50
I bought some 909, I'll try it on my RS honda 125 in two weeks at the Open Trophy in Belgium.
