Missmatched key accessories

#1 Post by Hahndo » Fri Mar 08, 2024 8:47 am

Does any company offer a igniton switch, gas cap and seat lock kit with matching keys for a 1984 RZ 350L? Nothing matches on my bike. Who wants to carry 3 different keys for 1 bike?
Thanks guys...

Are the keys you have the same key code. If they are, you can strip the locks and re-key them to match.
There is a guy on Facebook that does this. I can’t think of his name, but he’s in the groups. Search for him.

Rz's Unlimited has matching sets 818-502-1919. I've bought them in the past.

If you have a good ignition switch and key it's easy to re-key the other locks. They come apart easily and you then move the tumblers around, or remove some as necessary, until your key works in that lock. Takes just a few minutes to do it.
