Thanks Darrell!

Darrell wrote:I bought a Canadian RD and had zero trouble getting it titled in Washington. All I had to do was to take it, along with the Canadian version of our title, to the customs office in Tacoma. A customs inspector made sure the numbers matched, signed a piece of paper, and that was that. It was cheap too, I don't recall what I paid, but it was quite reasonable. The "secret" was that my bike was more than 20 years old. All those rules about two-stroke importation are relaxed for older bikes. Mine is an 89, and I did it five years ago, so virtually any Canadian bike or frame should sail through, assuming you have the Canadian title.

I have had my project bike for a couple months (its here on another thread) and had help from another member on how to jump thru the hole to get a title it wasn't easy but it was worth it in the end 200$ Rolling frame no papers and 1 month later had papers for it as long as its not stolen you should be good

as far as the pictures tells me if you get fork tubes and fix the tank, mine was almost as bad it shouldn't be that hard to run the bike as is for a track bike
just my 2cents
cheers good luck
