I have all the parts I think. now I need to put this RZ together, ie oil lines and oil tank, I have the Zeeltronic iggy and PW controller, Radiator, wiring battery ect. Pipes fuel tank and lights. it has been so long since I have done this what is the build steps, I don`t want to blow this thing up, I want it done right. I will use the stock oiling injection. thanks tony d

Re: dressing the RZ
Clutch cable hooked up, carburetor installed, oil lines and throttle cables hooked up. Power valve servo motor bolted up. That's all for today, back at it in a couple of days.

Re: dressing the RZ
Thank You I will need a electronic dash, any suggestions, I would like the vapor but not sure which one to buy, they have many to chose from, and they are not sure what will meet my needs. Which are similar to the stock instrument cluster. Thanks Tony D
Re: dressing the RZ
KOSO RX-2 GP works fantastic on the 500. tacky1 runs the same on at least one of his 500s.
A bit expensive but highly recommended

Re: dressing the RZ
I've recently been working with RGV Steve as well, regarding my chassis, he said he finished one & sent to Mass..must be you..lol
After the hurricane, hopefully all will be well with him!, And he won't be too busy with his primary work obligations,with luck, he will be working on my swingarm fabrication, and doing my stem swap for my triples.
As far as gauges, I prefer Analog ..I like the SPA line, there's alot if choices. http://www.spatechnique.com/store/itemList.cfm?catID=27" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Im not opposed to a fully digital display, but think I'd prefer Analog all I really need is Tach & temp..but with so many avail inputs with data for a multitude of functions, I could easily be swayed

Re: dressing the RZ
How are your handlebar clamps attached to the top triple clamp? They look round on the bottom.
Re: dressing the RZ
I will get a better picture of that for you. It is a 04-06 R-1 front end. The handle bar clamps are off a 2000 KTM 250 EXC. I had to drill holes in the top clamp, use aluminum stock and poly nuts on the under side of top clamp. Had to use aluminum stock on top too. I should of welded them on but it should be fine, maybe a chemical bond when I get ready to ride the bike.
