Actually, its just another RZ into RS but it sat for 5 years, coz I couldn't be "arsed". Hence the title.
Formerley a TSS, but we don't mention that anymore. Officially, and from hence forth it shall be called, an RS485

I've had my distractions, time for wounds to heal, and finances have recovered - I hope.
So for starters a mate in England has my barrels, a few more parts to be ordered, a few mods to be made, a few :smt017 (hundred?) hours and all will be well with the world.

Great project! Hopefully you can bring into the daylight with final results a machine that the original concept looked to deliver.
Its really such a unfortunate ordeal you had to go through, Unfortunatley that "little unmentionable shop from AUS" was in way over their heads. The sad thing is, IMO "Much" of what the owner said I happened to totally agree with, especially some of his engine opinions .
I'd like to think he meant well, and really wanted his dream to beome a reality, but when the full scope of finances required to achieve that goal failed, he either involuntarily started a "ponzi" scheme? to try to save everything..to no avail and to the detriment to indaviduals like yourself. (If that was the case ?)
It would truly be sad if his only intentions were to obtain quick cash and his plan was to run from the get go.
Quite unfortunate, with any luck you can share your build here and feel the pats on the back & thumbs up from all here whom support your completion of your marathon build at long last!
Best wishes, and detail all you can here.

Hi Ghezzi

"Little Mate"

Is that a heightest remark? :smt018

See you Saturday

Hi Jon,

Yep,
I am here for a few weeks on holiday.
I haven't seen much so far, just the inside of a garage for the last week.

On the sixth kick, the earth trembled and the heavens shook, as there was fire in the belly of the beast.

Hang on, that might have been the Thai green curry?

If the cinema photographer will post it up .....................
The gentle blipping of the throttle is only to 3.5 / 4K rpm, sounds like 7K

Update;
Coupla short rides, first one I hadn't adjusted my brain for a quick action throttle. Wheelies madly in first gear. Too quick for traffic even at 3K. Scary/mad/psycho.
Ok, brain re-programmed. Gentle on the throttle and it is civilised enough to ride around town, pulling cleanly from just over 2K. Heaps of grunt.

UPDATE:
Reset tacho to read more accurately.
Together with my ham fisted throttle action, I was also riding higher in the rev range than I thought. :smt031
So, by 4k its lively and as 5k approaches you know all hell is about to break loose.

Can't tell you much more than that, trying to take it steady but it reaches jailable speeds in the blink of an eye. :smt003 :smt003 :smt003

Thanks again Peddro.
