The plugs I used for the rear frame tubes were robbed from an old set of mountain bike handlebar horns (which are considered one of the 15 worst mountain bike products ever produced). They tend to collect branches on the trail and pitch you off the bike. I always removed them from my 90's mountain bikes. But the end caps are the perfect size for the RZ's rear frame tubes.

Are you sure you have enough clearance between the fork tubes / clip ons and the gas tank with these forks ? FZR Tee is much closer to the steering head than the RZ Tee .
With the added trail from this geometry , you will get more stability on straight line but less agility in turn , so in fact you shouldn't need a steering damper at all .

It is all tested and all good. The fork stop on the frame has been redone to allow the maximum amount of travel and to avoid the clipons from hitting the tank at a normal amount of sweep back angle. I may have lost a little turn radius but would only affect pushing the bike around in a parking space. The damper does have a neutral setting. Thanks for your input.

I am building a tray to hold an updated fuse/relay box and other electronics. Here are a few images of my progress.

Determining the cavity space beneath the fuel tank.
Image
The mold and fiberglass process. I am using epoxy resin.

Forming the rear mounts. The sockets are for a little weight while setting the preformed mounts.

Well, this is a bummer. My free image hosting site, TinyPic is shutting down. So my images may disappear soon. I will try to find another free option.
Here is my electronics panel painted and ready to install. Update on the images: I also have images on Google Photos and this is the updated image.
