If you look very carefully in the bottom right of the pic, you'll see a flushmount signal on the tail of my bike.

Managed to get the lower on 2 days ago. No modifications.

I still have loads of work ahead of me. I used the F2 plastic tray under the tank and squashed the fuse box. Going to wire in a box with current auto fuses. Have to repaint.

Just received this shirt in the mail from Steve Gyimesi, RZ owners group of North America.

Well, today I rode to the apprenticeship board to challenge some time on my apprenticeship. I was about a block from the shop and my front brakes packed up completely. The Stones say "Not fade away". I disagree, they were gone.
I took the bike to my bench and bled the system. There were no leaks. I would hold the front lever tight and all of a sudden the lever was hitting the bars. Turns out that's a classic old master trick, to fail, and refill the master in the process.
I'm searching my stock for a replacement to keep the bike on the road. Hopefully have things working by 2:00pm on Friday.

Well, I searched through the plethora of stuff and found a replacement master. Had the bike back in operation by 3:00pm Friday. Today, I changed the foot peg mounts out. Pics when I get home this evening.

The government got in touch with me and let me know that I passed my exam. I'm hoping to put in 12 weeks of school this winter to finish off my required contract, write my exams and add another trade to my list.

Tank report: Good news for us Canadians. So far, this season, I have been riding my RZ with a fibreglass AirTECH gas tank. It is holding up very well. I had it lined during the manufacturing process and am very pleased with its performance thus far. Our premium fuel does not appear to be reacting with the tank.

I'm an amateur, but I'm running a 5/8 stock MC and a had similar issues. Then I saw that the lever return spring was crooked and bent. I changed that and problem solved. So that little spring must have something to do with with pump rate.
Before that, I bought a bottle of cheap bottle of co-op fluid and purged the shit out of it with a Mytivac. the whole bottle. I don"t know shit but thats what happened to me.

Those symptoms were especially bad after doing parking moves ie. extreme left and right motions.

Now I just blew a wad on tranny gears. The OCD made me buy two sets.

cheers,
Gordie.

On a painting note. I did a rattle can job on my bike and this stuff is the bomb. bullet proof seriously. And the company Maple Brush Supplies is in Edmonton, so that should be easy to get. My whole rattle can job and everything else was done on my square acre
Cheers

Hey Gordie, thanks for all that.
I haven't pulled the master apart to see what's up yet. My paint can only be fixed with the same paint I used. Won't use it on fibreglass again.

The spring I was onto isn't in the MC, its the little spring that is between the lever and the brake cylinder. very skinny little spring that fits into a little hole and snaps the lever back into position. I'll post a photo just to clarify.

My issue is inside the master. The fluid is sliding by the plunger and back into the reservoir.
