Agreed, they have a good look. Just be careful when kicking it, you may hit them with your ankle.

Haven't hit the OEM peg, and these are shorter.

Pulled the rear brake out.

Plan is to get new stuff. The caliper is NLA - so full rebuild on that.

Had good luck in the past ordering custom HEL lines from motoheaven.

Ordered custom lines by email on 10/12. No response.

Ordered custom lines via a different email 10/15. No response.

Used their website ordering page on 10/23. Mail delivery failed.

Fuck it. Ordered the HEL lines from Speigler USA. They got right back to me, and the special order was completed within an hour.

Made a nice drawing for a footpeg support that goes between the footpeg and the footpeg bracket.

The support goes into the footpeg and into the footpeg bracket and has the footpeg bolt going through it.

Dropped off the drawing at the machine shop. Hope it doesn't take forever to cut it. :smt015

Thinking about a vintage number plate with a (small) headlight cutout, and also getting rid of the huge dash assembly.

Like this number plate - except made of aluminum, and painted yellow and black.

Like this, but with a small headlight cut into the plate.

Brake lines came in. Black/Red on top, Blue/Black bottom. Still waiting on other parts.

Buell Firebolt, they used projector lamps, DOT approved and available at the dealer for under $100.

Yeah, I've seen those on a lot of bikes. Good choice, but I want the number plate to be close to the forks - and don't want the headlight sticking way out. The Firebolt headlights are way too long.

Need a light with shallow depth.

Yeah, that's the downside to projectors, you can't change physics.
