Need to shape the YPVS servo bracket a little more.

Not exactly what I wanted, but it's okay.

I think I have the tranny casings lined up.

Still need to find the cylinders. I may have found a left cylinder, not sure.

Very hard to find trashed parts. Nobody lists them for sale, and the parts usually go right into the waste bin! :smt018

I'm checking with engine builders.

Very sad discovery!!! :smt012

Just figured out Slinger lives over 5,000 miles away from me.

I was hoping to talk him into making some custom GP pipes.

Shipping most of my bike, plus the stand-in engine, over 5,000 miles and international borders is a scary proposition.

Not really sure what to do at the moment.

Roger doesn't make pipes.

I may check out the shop (I think) he uses. It's only about an hour from my house.

If I have the pipes made in Cali - I need to check with BT first. He's the man, and the master. I wouldn't even contact him until everything I have is 100% ready to go.

Roger used to have an in house guy who did it I guess hes gone then.

BT should be able to do a fine job. worth an ask as you say.

1 vote for BT pipes. Several people up here have them on 350s and 500s.

Nice pipes kpke!

The problem is that this bike has special needs. Probably needs crossover pipes to get the bellies further forward and because I want shorter pipes, BT might not want to deal with it. Never seen any BT crossover pipes, either.

I need to get the footpegs done before the pipes.

Working on them now. There are clearance issues with the clutch cover which need to be figured out.

Waiting for the frame to come back from the welding shop.

The width and hence the clutch cover was one of the things I was struggling with on my KTMaha project, always a bit of messing about when adding an extra cyl of width :/ I moved the brake pedal outside the frame on the footpeg in the end, but it wasnt perfect.

Got more welding done on the engine cradle. Need to get it cleaned up.

The engine cradle bolts to a steel plate I made and tacked to the frame. I forgot to ask Roger to weld the plate - so, the frame is back at the welding shop.

I got a few pics. The cradle appears to be very solid. :smt023
