Anyone have the Solo-Seat mounting hardware and willing to sell? I seem to have lost the two brackets that came with mine. I put it away 25 years ago and unpacked it this week only- no hardware :(

National Fiberglass has the brackets. I believe he is glassndude on eBay. I can supply the correct size large O rings needed for the rear tabs to turn signal bracket stalk holds if needed.

Thanks! I sent that ebay user a note and hope to get a response. I never knew that o-rings were the preferred method of holding the very back to the turn signal stalk. Thanks for that info!

I found caliper seals worked to loop over the turn signal stems as well. Might not be the exact same size but fixed them. Those seals are expensive though so its only useful info if you’ve rebuilt your brake calipers and have the old ones still on hand. Evans would be the best bet.

you could just buy o rings the right size online; a bag of 50 would be cheap as chips... Its not like the solo cowl versions were anything special.

Cruzin image responded with a No More Left and Unknown ETA if at all.

Thanks, if I can't find originals somewhere I will get some made. I have one set of originals to use as a pattern but I have more than 1 RZ with a matching rear solo seat. I would prefer to have them look factory.....you know how it is.

Yes but my point is that they were low volume production items and not that well made originally, hence easy to copy. Im not suggesting a hacksaw and 10mins in the shed, Im talking about doing it properly, with a coat of paint theyd be indistinguable from the originals I reckon.

Remember these cowls might have been nice but their fixings left a lot to be desired; o rings round the indicators? Yes, really...

Try RZ’s Unlimited for the brackets. When got mine he had both originals and SS copies of them.
