Someone along the line put a liner in my tank. I'm not sure how long those last. It seems to turn fuel red after sitting for a few weeks with fuel in it.

Is there a good way to remove the liner and re do it?

Just leave it...until it causes problems. It may never break down.

Sounds like you have older Redcoat in there. See if you can find non ethanol fuel, check Pure-gas.org for sources in your area. I had a very bad experience with Redcoat and ethanol. The Redcoat migrated to the carbs on my XZ550 and they were pretty much ruined.
