I don't think so, look closer...

Well with the covers he used to do you needed a proper Gully seat base or one very like it. If hes now doing covers that look like gully patterns but fit the oem LC base then youre just getting a patterned cover, it wont look like the original gully at all, just an LC seat with a cover... well, unless he also supplies a contoured foam etc.

OK, looked at the ad... its nothing like a Gully seat. Ron used to do a cover that fitted the gullys for those needing one, that link is not it, thats a cover for an OEM seat.

They say: 'Convert your RD250/350LC to look like a Giuliari seat without the silly prices sellers charge, cover shown is just fitted to a standard seat,'

Why?! looks nothing like it... mental.

Yikes - that one is an after thought Jon, ur right. This one up for sale but something is a bit off also - quality control is not spot on along the bottom seam. Perhaps a new cover.

Does the new cover actually fit an LC base and foam, or is it bunchy and loose?
If using an LC base, in the absence of a replica Gully base, maybe a cut that fits a foam shaped and angled as close to the Gully foam is the way to proceed with a reasonable approximation. The original Gully is attractive because the proportions work. The elimination of the stocker's midseat hump and the sassy kick-up at the rear works with the chevrons cut into the cover's surface. Sitting an original Gully base and foam alongside an LC base and foam and making the dimensional and proportional adjustments, if it's possible to work with an LC base, might give that same pleasing result as the original Gully cover, base, and foam kit did.

Well the white one sold for 600 quid:

I believe you can fit one of those replica covers on the 4L0 seat pan but a lot of modification will be required to foam inlay. Not aware of anyone doing that yet but I sure its been done sucessfully.
Attached is the link for the new Guilairi seats; sold out at 300 quid a piece.

Appears replicas are 1/4 the cost of actuals and not looking too bad.

Nice touch. Funny of all the RD's I've seen him pictured on, none have yet to have a gully. There's an article on him and his admiration of the LC in the literature, brouchures and printed material.

Update: sold for 326 quid.
