Mirrors for Air-Tech full fairing/other full fairings

#1 Post by SecaJohn » Wed Nov 11, 2015 3:36 am

Anyone have any ideas for what mirrors I could use with my Air-Tech GP Fairing? It's this sucker: http://www.airtech-streamlining.com/yamaz/YZR350.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

(yes I was the guy who scored the only used one to show up on ebay in eons, sorry!)

Anyway, some immediate ideas me and my 2stroke colleague had were:

- Bar end mirrors from ebay (pro: cheap, con: very small mirror surface)

- Bending the stock mirrors down so they fit with the fairing (pro: ???, con: could easily damage or break stock mirrors)

Any suggestions?

I would not recommend it without some form of reinforcement I have several of those fairings and I wouldn't want anything bolted to them, its racebike giberhlass & thin & weak. The bar end mirrors are probably a good choice don't look any less dorky than standard mirrors some of them are actually made quite well and rather small

Thank you all for the responses!

My next question then is what brand is the best in your opinion and where can I buy them? I'd like as much mirror area as I can get

Ebay. There are tons of styles. Just do a search for barend mirrors.

I have bought several different styles and they are all pretty much equal as far as quality.
