If you could specify which Zeel you have it'd be extremely helpful - there are two dozen different boxes available...

Concerning your bike: If you have a PCDI, you need a working source coil (red/green/white).
On the 85 models the red is red with a white stripe. It'll require a special treatment of the kill switch.

Doesnt Zeeltronic have wiring diagrams on their website still? If so then you need to the one for the 1985 non USA models I would think as your 85 is the same as ours (AUS) and the UK/EU/Japan in most of the wiring, you guys have a few different things but its for the lights etc not the CDI/PV.

The PCDI 10T wouldn't be on top of my list 'coz it's missing the programmable PV.
But on the other hand it's easier for you to connect.

That'll do the job in 95%.
If you have the 85 model with the red/white on the source coil, you need to unplug the kill switch from the stock harness and wire it directly to the CDI as described (one end to to ground, the other to the CDI).
The reason is that these models ground the red/white source coil to ground to kill the engine. All other stock CDI's have a black/white extra cable for the killswitch input.

RZ350NC is the "California only" model (C).

Isn't the wiring more like the other '85 USA models?

If you need to add the programmable power valve, I think you can buy a separate module for that.

No Idea Smoker, what i do know is that Borut at Zeel will supply the right wiring diagram if asked, its on their site even I suspect.

The USA 85 is very much like the 83 and 84 isnt it? the 85s ROW are not, they are F/N models.
