hi my tach on my 1974 rd350 shows idle speed but doesnt show revs?i opened the cable up and the splines rotate.help would be appreciated. thanks.

are you sure its not snapped? sometimes at low revs they work but at high revs it jumps across the snapped area. if you pull the ends out you might find you just get a small part.
