Custom Gaskets

Ran into this vid about a custom gasket cutting machine .... actually it is for sewing and arts & crafts but it works wonders for custom gaskets too.

I googled that machine and there are several variants with a wide price range. I'd think the basic machine would work fine for gaskets.

I bought my wife one of these a few years ago. One of the big challenges is the software. Online only, slow, locks up etc. It does great work when it’s working though!
Another challenge is gasket paper and proper thicknesses. I could make gaskets for my rs125 in varying thicknesses, but the cost of the paper outweighs the advantage of making my own.

Get Elring Abil N paper in 0.5mm and your scissors to do this at home.
