Ported RD 400

Post by slinger »

Well this (for me lol) has to be the coolest engine re-design from old to new-ish I've done in a while, yes it,s a race engine but with the low port timings will have a large-ish power band from around 6k to peak @ 10500.
The main area has been the exhaust port, remodeling the guff over sized single exhaust duct to a more modern triple exhaust and the first RD400 to use a nozzle :smt033 .

Wow, awesome work!

And the Daytona head is cut in two. Me thinks there is some work under there too!
