Jon I am jealous! I wish me TT500 looked as trick. I like the KTM wheels. I just found a oem pair for my KTM 620. This is going to be my everyday dual sport going back and forth with dirt street setup.

Thanks very much for the kind words. I used to have a '98 620SC, which I motard'd back in 2000 with a lovely set of Talons. Wish I had kept that bike, it was a mental stripped down beast, but with an FCR41 it was possible to start it in slippers! :D Lets have a pic of yours!

Mines a 96 RXC 620 which became the Super Comp as the newer RXC's got e-start and heavier.

FCR39 dyno tuned with a hybrid pipe, Procircuit header and mid pipe with a FMF silencer.

Loving that pipe! I had KTMs SPES (or something like that) hard parts version, it was hanging on the wall of my dealer, and I one days asked if he needed it... no one had a price, so it was cheap :D

no turn signals, no cam operated decomp, not much at all... oh how i loved it. :D

I mentioned a while back that after kicking the bike over a few times and stomping around the garage a bit, my beloved Alpinestars Tech5 MX boots decided to fall apart, the plastic having totally gone brittle. Here are the pics:









There is more damage up the shin where one clamp sheared off the plastic plate and was dangling...

I loved these boots, they were the most comfy boots ever... RIP beloved Tech5s! you will be missed....

For a while now Ive been organising the purchase of some high quality heat resistant barrier for plastic panels, some for the RD and RZs but also for the XT's side panel. First to get the treatment was the XT :)

The stuff... will resist up to something like 500 degC and is 3 layers that will not de laminate, or fall off the panel when hot. useful specs :)



Made a simple template and started cutting



The finished item :)
