Chain adjusters

#1 Post by Bald Anthony » Tue Mar 28, 2017 10:24 am

Does anyone one know if the original metal/chrome chain adjusters cross reference with any other brand or model? I would like to use aluminum chain adjusters on the stock swing arm.

Brand? Model? Part#?

Thanks,
Bald Anthony

Which swingarm do you have? There's one with drop out style aka bicycle style, and there's a box end square tubing style.

This is really none of my business but the '86 and up square section swing arm is a serious upgrade. The chain adjusters are much cleaner and it has needle bearings in the pivot.
Red/White US '84, Spec II pipes, Y-boot w/K&N, Fox Shock, Mikuni carbs?

That later swingarm was also used in '84 and '85 outside the US.

Have one sitting here if you are looking for one. Likely have some adjusters if that is all you need but would have to check.
